Q: How Do You Use Donations?

A: We use donations to fund materials and supplies that are used in providing hands on experiential training that helps the audience gain an understanding of what life may be like with a disability. We also use funds to maintain our webpage. There is maintenance updates and refreshing the page to keep it current. Funds are also used to maintain equipment such as computers, printers ink paper and office supplies.

Q: Is My Donation Tax Deductible?

A: All donations made are tax deductible.

Q: Who Runs The Organization?

A: EP BUILD is a 501-C3, Tax Exempt non-profit organization that is run by an executive board which meets monthly.

Q: What Services Does Your Organization Offer?

A: We offer educational training which we call “people first training” we advocate for the inclusion of people living with a difference. The training also helps to change a persons perspective on disability and we help them to see the person before the disability.

Q: Does Your Organization Collaborate With Other Area Nonprofits?

A: At present we are in conversations with other nonprofits we are working toward finding how we can compliment each other in service to the community.

Q:How Much of My Donation Goes to Operations Versus Actual Programs?

A: We do not have any building or operational costs, we are a virtual office and all donations contribute toward the development and execution of our trainings. We want to give the audiences a first hand experience into the world of disability.

Q: How Successful has the Nonprofit Been in Achieving its Mission?

A: We feel that we are successful, we recently celebrated 11 years of service to the community.

Q: Are There Any Risks or Challenges the Nonprofit Faces?

A: Challenges can include delays in trainings because of bureaucratic hiccups in contract/service agreements that delay trainings. We are still a very small nonprofit and getting our services known to the community is still a challenge because we are all volunteers that have day jobs. We do have a passion for our trainings we truly believe in the value of our trainings. Our availability and time including schedules are at times a challenge to coordinate training events.

Q: Will I Be Informed About the Impact of Donations?

A: You will be informed on how your donation was used if requested. We do offer social media blast and acknowledgement of your generosity.

Q: What are the responsibilities of the Excecutive Board?

A: The executive board meets monthly and we are dedicated to keep business current and address the needs of a business who has requested one of our trainings.
