IRS Raises Able Account Limit
individuals with disabilities will be allowed to put aside more money than ever before in a special type of account that permits them to save without jeopardizing their government benefits.

Franklin D Roosevelt is one of America’s longest serving presidents who was disabled but had the advantage that paparazzi and social media did not exist. He also had a “gentleman’s agreement” with reporters or the media of the time to hide his disability. He intentionally hid his disability because of judgements and stereotyping of people with disabilities being seen as weak,dumb and as not able to fulfill greatness. He was successful in portraying strength and ability as a person living with a significant disability. It exemplifies that disability does not define the person.
His mom was an addict, his dad lost his job as an accountant, and the family once slept in a car. This was Jim’s childhood.
Jim Carrey has had many challenges in his life disability and homelessness, amongst other things. But he has found his reason in his why, and how to fill a very fulfilled life.
